Teacher Bio -
Nikita Nieh was born and raised in Taiwan. Mandarin is her first language. Her interest in western culture lead her to choose English literature as her major in the University. After receiving a bachelor degree from Chinese Culture University, she went to New Zealand to study further for her Graduate Diploma in Translation Studies in Auckland University. Her past experience includes online teaching, developing language learning materials, translating and simultaneous interpreting.
She has worked for Learning Technology (Actual Living English) for more than 4 years as a project coordinator. Her job content includes talent sourcing, budget and timeline control, and quality control of language teaching materials.
In year 2004, she was promoted to Assistant to Vice President of Learning Technology’s sister company, World Family (Disney’s World of English).
In her leisure time, she likes to stay at home and watch TV with her family. Discovery and Travel and Living channels are her all time favorites. Her star sign, Cancer, makes her really enjoy the time teaching online and playing with her pet rabbit at home.
