WHAT WE DO:
TeacherJames Expert English Teaching matches professional companies in Asia seeking English training for their employees with specialized teachers who have backgrounds in their field (like marketing, engineering, or finance) to teach English over the Internet.
Professional companies in China and Taiwan cannot find the English language help they need. They rely on ex-pats or recent college graduates, who usually have non-specialized degrees or no training relating to the company’s field of business. TeacherJames Expert English Teaching gives these companies the best way to meet their needs and help with presentations, proposals, and skills related to their specific fields.
WHAT WE ARE SEEKING:
We think that the Teacherjames Expert Teaching program is perfect for professionals who are currently in-between jobs or are looking for part-time income while job searching. With our program, not only do they make part-time income, but they get to NETWORK with mid-level managers and associates of an Asian company in their field.
For someone to participate in this program, there are a few easy steps:
1) Spend a few mintues learning the TeacherJames online classroom.
2) Create a 10-15 minute DEMO RECORDING within our classroom based on their field.
3) We would take their demo and showcase it to companies and firms in Taiwan and China.
4) When we find a company interested in the teacher demo, then we work with the company and the teacher to come up with lesson plans, lesson times, rates, technical support, and any other details necessary.
The entire process really takes about 30-45 minutes. It's like filling out a job application geared towards online teaching.
We will work with the teacher the entire way, including answering questions as basic as "So, how do I start teaching English?" One important note is that TeacherJames does not aim to teach English in a traditional way, but instead we teach companies and firms the specialized English and vocabulary they need every day in their work: for sales proposals, business presentations, emails and all correspondence.
